Clubrooms
The Railway Enthusiasts Club is as it says a club for like minded Railway Enthusiasts. Developing out of a group of enthusiasts in the early 1950s it developed into a specialist railway touring club and today concentrates mainly on the railway modeller.
We have our own club room in Farnborough and meet every Tuesday from 7:00 pm.
We have a large meeting hall, bar, kitchen, library, office and layout storage facilities. We have extensive parking available both within the club perimeter and nearby.
Our clubrooms are currently not available for hire, apart from existing contracts.
Our premises are also used by IPMS Farnborough and Slimming World.
Club Night
Every Tuesday - the clubroom is open from approx. 7pm with layouts up by rota for running or work. Lots of chat and banter.
New members are always welcomed - just come on down and make yourself known to us.
Modelling, Visits, History, Photography, Reading, Films, Research - there is bound to be somebody with similar interests to you in the club.
Bar
Our well stocked bar offers drinks at competitive prices. We aim to stock different beers from a wide variety of breweries. A range of soft drinks, wines and spirits are also available. If tea or coffee is your delight we can provide that too.
Library
We have and extensive library with historic and contemporary titles, magazines,photographs and DVDs. Plenty of browsing opportunities.
Layouts
The club has a number of active modelling groups with layouts ranging from ‘N’ to ‘O’. Experts to complete beginners -all are welcomed
